Digital Reporter – Stroudsburg, PA

Duties:

The Pocono Record seeks a talented digital journalist who can engage readers with their Web postings, social media interactions, coding know-how, photo and videos, reporting and story-telling abilities. This position has a strong digital bent, with the successful candidate providing a steady stream of engaging online content.

The position calls for working afternoons and evenings, and splitting time as needed between GA work and promoting and feeding our digital brand across multiple platforms. This position will require working across the newsroom with news editors, reporters, photographers and the copy desk.

Skills/Qualifications:

Enthusiastic multi-tasker who can respond to news with a sense of urgency. Demonstrated know-how of all things Web and social media and proven news judgment are musts. Candidates who might lack many years experience in a newsroom but who more than make up for it with their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn will be considered.
